EIR — Enfermero Interno Residente
The nursing version of the MIR: it allocates specialist nursing residency places such as midwifery, paediatrics and mental health.

- After the four-year Nursing degree, sat on the same day as the MIR.

- 6 to 12 months of study alongside or after the degree.
